French Weather terms

A window of opportunity is opening that may allow a quick bunk off work for a few days and, as the wine rack needs filling, I fancy a trip to France.
Looking at the French weather forecast there a couple of terms that I have forgotten .
Can anyone remind me the meaning of the following :-
Rafales
Brume
Houle

Rafales = gust

Brume = haze

Houle = swell

In that order

Rafales = gust
Brume = mist (eg Brume de beau temps = haze)
Houle = swell

I printed out Frank Singleton's excellent list and took it with us. It did prove handy on occasion, clarifying things we weren't sure about...
