When a boat for sale advert in France says there is a possibility to take over lease what does that entail?Can anyone explain the french leasing system and do you have to be french to participate?

Is it referring to a lease on the boat, or on the berth? Berth leasing is pretty much the norm in Med France, dunno about elsewhere.

Lots of people in Portugal have bought French boats this way.They keep the French flag during the contract.
