I really must stop turning up late to committee meetings (M25 was closed but thats another story), first No Regrets gets in and now Boatone. You'll be telling me Apollo has been allowed to join next!
Oh wait...he's already a member isn't he, we really do take anyone at BCC

You might want to "tweak" the marketing strategy slightly....? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Sorry, thought you knew - I'm in I.T. not marketing.

Apologies if it offended you, wasn't meant to, in the same way as I doubt anyone really means what they say about No Regrets on here.

I expect Tony will receive a warm welcome from the club, as I know No Regrets has and believe you have, how long you been a member now anyway? (longer than me.)

Darren.

Appologies from me too, working late makes me tired and I am a miserable bu@@er even when I am not tired.

I mistakenly missed a couple of words out on that reply which changed the meaning out of context unintentionally.

Perhaps a table at the TVR for the "Grumpy old men"?

That would be nice .... I get fed up sitting on my own /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

How nice of you all to kiss and make up, I was getting a little worried that I might be becoming a disruptive influence! You can see how tolerant I am.....even joined when I knew you lot were members ! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You're always welcome at my table /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

That would make a good club motto in fact, and I speak from experience.

"The word you want is "internecine,"
That was yesterdays word ...the word we like to bandy about down here on the Medway is Dredging as in lots of Dredging or loads of dredging in fact we can spend hours finding new ways of mentioning the word dredging in a sentence
ie. They are dredging the Medway or as an alternative
They do not dredge the (insert river of your choice) much at all.

Definitions of 'dredging'

dredging (v.) cover before cooking : "dredge the chicken in flour before frying it"
dredging (v.) search (as the bottom of a body of water) for something valuable or lost
dredging (v.) remove with a power shovel, usually from a bottom of a body of water
