Here is a French thread about the jouet 24. If you don’t speak French, I’m sure you could run it through google translate or similar.

There are pleanty of boats of all types on the med coast but it’s a long way by sea basically circumnavigating Spain, probably alright in the summer.

Best you stick to wooden masts, yardarms and square sails as well. And of course stones for ballast.
Don't want any of these new fangled inventions
They get used for other things too; imagine the controversy caused by turning up at Newtown creek with a granite Rocna?

12000e is going to buy you a pretty tidy boat I reckon
Shop carefully , no rush, autumn is the buyers friend ( except viewing gelcoat on rainy days !) and new rigging /sails/ autopilot etc would def be an asset in the asking price ..
Or indeed, a trailer .. why pay winter storage at the coast when a quick tow with a friendly van owner gets you to bargain level inland storage .

A new inboard motor is imho less attractive in the asking price for what you intend .. outboards are just so simple and almost maintenance free, with no diesel bug /filters/exhaust systems/plumbing/wiring/shaft seal/anodes /propellor drag to go wrong ! And there’s less weight, no cabin smell and more storage

The best bet so far is the Puma 23 in Coruna…….nothing too extreme,British architect from the 1970 asking 6500 euros
Indeed - Holman &Pye. A bit like a shrunken UFO27. Should be a good sailing boat. Usual caveat about the condition of the inboard engine.
