Following on from my previous post on what to take to France, I have taken the orrible fizzy cider off, filled the water tanks with real ale and stocked up on a months supply of fish and chips.:D only problem now is shorepower for the microwave. is the standard British 3 pin 16 amp connector the same as France and the Channel Isles or do I need something else? if so what and can I get a plug over here.

You'll find they mainly use CEE P+N+E 6h connectors but a CEE 7/5 adapter might be a good idea. You'll need to check for the phase when using an adapter though.

The connecter you use in the UK will be fine, not sure about the microwave though, as some of the pods have 5amp circuit breakers. Make sure you bring your own hose and a selection of connectors, most ports have water but not normally hoses. To be honest, anything else you find that you need or have forgotten can be bought at the local SuperU, or Uship, or Bigship etc.
