Freight ideas - books to Bequia

If you've ever landed at Bequia in the Grenadines you'll know what a splendid isle it is. Only seven mile square and a fantastic, friendly spot on the map. I have scores of good quality children's books I'd like to ship to the small public library for the 2000 young people on the island. Anyone know of a cheap and cheerful means of getting them to Bequia or perhaps St Vincent where they could be collected?

I am sure one of the ARC 2008 boats will eventually get there. Why not do a post on the ARC forum? I think it is on http://www.worldcruising.com

I have sent on your query to the Editor of the Caribbean Compass newspaper in Bequia ( www.caribbeancompass.com ) - I am sure that they will have some ideas as well.

Thanks Bajansailor -great idea. I've also found an email for the library support group so I can check out what they need (plenty to choose from) but they may be just as short as me on freighting ideas so you are right, the Compass may add to Stingo's good idea.
