Free wifi

Interesting discussion. When we walked the Offas Dyke path, a lovely householder had put a little shed with free tea, coffee and water for passing walkers at the end of their garden. I can imagine that, if this appeared on the " Free Refreshments" App, problems would ensue and the facility would vanish.

We are used to demand being somewhat controlled by information and access. These days, I think that suppliers of free WiFi would know that these access Apps exist and, in consideration of their own technical and business requirements either allow unfettered access or adopt password changing.

Personally I think the issue will vanish, I now find the quality of connection and the faff involved not really worth the bother as mobile data gets cheaper and cheaper.

Cheers
