Did I dream this, or was there an offer on the forum some weeks ago from YBW to fill a survey in, and the first 50 to do so got a free subscription to a YBW magazine of their choice?

I opted for PBO, and got my subscription confirmed; since then at least two issues of PBO have come out, and I've received nothing.

Did I dream this?

Maybe I wasn't quick enough?

Has anyone else got theirs?
 
Same for me, I had confirmation at the end of the survey that I had qualified for a free subscription, chose Yachting Monthly, but heard and received absolutely nothing since. ...../forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
 
I asked this a couple of weeks back. Keith told us to be patient - good things come to those who wait (or is that an entirely different product??)

He had intended mailing us to let us know what was going on but had negelcted to get our e-mail addresses. He did remember that Lakesailor was a winner, but couldn't remember the rest of us!!
 
What he said was

"Obviously you're all normal, I couldn't remember if it was 54, or 55 subs being given away (it's 55). I've just looked at the data and we didn't ask for email addresses, so I can't email you to let you know you've won. The only name I recognised was Lakesailor's, so he's getting one.

The other 54 will have to wait and see, just checked with subs and it takes approx six weeks for the first copy to arrive through the post. *ducks under cover to hide from unhappy winners* !
 
I too completed this survey and opted for Yachting monthly. I actually e-mailed Keith just to check, but eventually received a reply that actually I had been unsuccesful. I am not impressed!
 
The message at the end of the survey said to be in with a chance of winning, please enter your details below and I don't think it's been six weeks yet. The survey was posted on the 4th of May.
 
Hi all, as far as I understand it we're not able to contact the winners by email because email addresses weren't captured during the survey.

This means that the winners will start receiving their copies somewhat unexpectedly in about three weeks from now. Sorry this has caused confusion and yes it was a mistake not to get the email addresses. Unfortunately we can't do anything to change that now.

I didn't respond to the survey and consequently didn't get a free subscription, so I wasn't disappointed not to get a magazine.

I call that a result.

On Wednesday I won't be doing the lottery.
