Not all the books are free. This one is £2.56. But it looks an interesting read so that's not much to pay.

Hi as Loddon points out,they are free on the day I post them,and sometimes they put the price up afterwards,best thing to do is check every couple of days to see if they are free again

And before I forget,at one stage 'Amazon' seemed to be 'hacked' as I and many others got emails from them re your 'order'.
the best thing is to just delete the email(do not open, it is a trojan)and then go to the amazon site to check things out

I'm enjoying reading this. It's more of a collection of notes than a continuous narrative but very fascinating to anyone with an interest in the history of marine engineering in the days of steam reciprocating engines.
