No I am not offering any , but I would like to find a MAC osx compatible system that is free or at least good value.
I have tried the opencpn and it tried to kill my MAC, that was a first!!!
I have the CM93 charts from my old PC but the software wont run on MAC
So any one with experience of a user friendly, cost effective system???

Have you had a look for PolarView ? I downloaded it and now use it do display GRIB files, but apparently it does charts too - don't know if it will do yours though.

It is easy to run a windows environment on a Mac - just use Sun Virtual Box (free) and install windows on a dynamic drive - then you can run all the usual PC apps you can't get on Mac.

You could always install VMWare / VirtualBox on the Mac, run a Windoze in that and run your favourite Windoze app in that.

That ought to work perfectly

Come on all you Mac users who love to tell us what idiots we are for using PCs. Let's hear an answer that doesn't involve running Windows!

OpenCPN is the best free PC plotter I've used, and it reads CM93 charts too (unlike Seaclear). I wonder which version you had problems with. There's currently a lot of beta testing going on and the next release is expected very soon. I'd suggest keeping an eye out for the next version here. If you want to try the latest beta you can download it from here.
