Not even remotely boaty, but i thought i'd share this, in case anyone here is NHS staff or knows someone who is. The following is an excerpt from an email i received from Green Flag. Nice gesture, IMO

I'm aware other companies are making offers to help the NHS staff, so ? to them too.

NHS staff are always there for us. So we want to be there for them too. Which is why we are now offering all NHS staff free Green Flag breakdown assistance for their journeys to and from work, 24/7

If you work for the NHS and you don't have cover at home, you'll get this automatically. And please tell anyone you know who works for the NHS that they can call us any time. They will just need their NHS identification number when they call and their NHS ID card to show the technician

Seriously, i don't think the other people who are risking their health, indeed lives, to keep us going get enough recognition sometimes. There are many people at work, often on low wages, keeping us safe, fed, warm etc. Any of them could just phone in sick and get 80% of their wages for staying at home, safe, with their families. We all owe these people a debt that can never be repaid. My thanks and best wishes go out to every one of them, stay safe ?
