I think it got a bit personal with people insulting livaboard boaters and suggestions of over reacting.
The one thing that struck me was that there wasn’t anyone on duty from the Marina to sort the problem out. I know at Haslar we could just call the duty manager who would resolve the situation, certainly after midnight.
As for liveaboards handy to keep an extra set of eyes on your boat and do the odd favour if you’re friendly.
Never harms to have an extra friend or two in the world.
