Fray Bentos Fishing Permits

There have been reports of British Vessels fishing for fray bentos in French Waters without the neccessary EC permits.

This is uanacceptable .It brings us all into disrepute .

There have even been actual sightings of under size fray bentos being landed.

Ecellent ! I once found a tin washed up on the foreshore in perfect condition but with no lable which turned out to be pilchards. Sort of coals to Newcastle really.

Fishing for Fray Bentos, whether in or out of season is simply cruel and should banned. However hunting for Fray Bentos with dogs should be encouraged as a humane alternative.
