Thanks to 'chrisj' and 'Twister-Ken', I now know that Frank is alive and well, enjoying retirement in Shoreham by Sea. Frank did build 'Cascade Too' in 1975 to a Dave Thomas design.

Should either of you be in the Lake District some time and wish to see her or perhaps go for a sail, please contact me on;

Merve used to lust after that boat when we saw her for sale at Shepherds. She really is a beauty. Hope you enyoy lots of excellent sailing. Whilst we have moved onto the sea, I still have vague hankerings for Windermere. Excellent sailing, no tides, get on your boat and sail at anytime. Just enjoy!!

Cynthia, thanks for the message and yes, Merve is right, 'Cascade Too' is a beauty. I have cruised for many years in the Clyde and up the West Coast, Windermere is a new departure. As I now live in Kendal there seems to be a certain logic in taking advantage of this delightful resource. What I need is local knowledge to make the most of the racing scene, might you be in a position to advise? If so, please contact me via the net or on 01539 734892, Brian.
