Frances Anchor Winch

I have a 15 year old anchor windlass with a burnt out and corroded motor. Does anyone have any idea of where replacements might be had? I think Frances used to be Lucas Marine (or vice versa).

You may be able to have the motor re-wound. look in the yellow pages for Electric Motor Repairs

jaguar did you get your winch repaired if not please let me know.andy did say you called but he was sorting out a job so he was busy at the time.from what i have seen most anchor winch motors are based on starter motors that are made by lucas and others.
