France v UK

Posed this on fuel price forum but no one seems to be viewing. I know that probably the cheapest place in the channel to buy diesel is Guernsey but what is the general comparison for France v UK right now?
Picking up my Aqua-Star 33 from Ipswich soon and considering if a trip to say Calais on the way home to the Solent is worth while?

a month or two ago, France was about £1.40 a litre- no 60/40 of course.

OK thanks Guys. Thats what I thought. With about £1.06 per litre 60/40 over here there is little point in going south.
Good to confirm though.
Seems that Guernsey is still a good place to visit if you need a lot though......

I'm filling up tomorrow in St Sampsons, 56p so yes Guernsey definitely cheaper!
