That horrid smell from the heads inlet pipe has reminded me that it is time for a new air freshener on board.

As the panel is becoming so much more aware in these matters of style I thought it might be useful to gain collective advice on which fragrance to purchase.

Should I stick with the relaxing lavender, or go with a more envigorating citrus variety? The choice is endless and it is so important to have the right ambiance on board.

neither ... you must pay more attention to your diet and consume fragrant comesibles which will alleviate your problem as well as improving the environment for those lower down the food chain.

If you have to feed them, some amongst us swear by brassicas, especially cauliflower, which are capable of a speedy exit through the bowel system. reducing residence time is the key! on no account feed easily digestible victuals as these are easily converted into foul smelling odours.

failing all else ... have you thought of providing a bucket?

hope this helps ...

Citrus smell are awfie butch, much better with the fragrant whiff of a pot pourri offering a delicate niff to the discerning nostril .. and if you run out of hash you can smoke it .. hope that helps ..

Why don't you fix the 'Root Cause' of your smells and then you don't need any air freshener. Just make sure you always fill the inlet pipe with FRESH water when you leave the boat and you will never be plagued by smells again!

Try lighting a match! You will either ignite the methane and the smell will no longer be much of a concern...ventilation will however improve quite dramatically OR the smell of the lit match will remove the smell completely!
