I like the idea of a discounted book of tickets. Great idea. I'll be bringing it to the next board meeting.
Discounted tickets are already available and have been for years. My club issues them, about a £5 reduction on the £18 price...

I do hope that the harbour commissioners take heed and indeed not jeopardise the excellent harbour staff who in my opinion are second to none on the south coast, by price increases that obviously isn't going down well.
its always good to hear others patronising statements that they pay their way in life as if the rest of us don't, though possibly a vested interest in keeping their own mooring charges lower by hoping visitors will bolster funds.
I for one have not visited this year nor will I in future until the harbour office sees sense. the boating industry I feel is or very soon will be in crisis and the keeping of a boat is a luxury and when funds are getting tight its not rocket science to realise what's going first!
I wonder what the Fowey business men and women who will definitely see a sharp decline in takings are actually doing? as red comrade stated he (like the rest of us) spent considerable amounts in the town and this knock on effect will further jeopardise jobs and a thriving holiday town.
The Harbour Commissioners are all voluntary and receive absolutely no re numeration whatsoever...... I am one of them.....As a Commissioner it is my duty to take on board your views and I sincerely do. Keep the views coming as they will influence our decision making.....Russ.
I didnt go there this weekend either, nor last weekend. Entirely due to these rises. But am loving the much shorter hop to Helford and furtling around the bay for a change, and so is SWMBO now the Shipwrights has sorted itself out.
