Found flare floating in Orwell

Found a Red Parachute flare floating through Woolverstone Marina yesterday. It was dated 2001 Fished it out and Marina staff took it away for disposal.

I really hope it had been dropped in by accident and not just thrown in to get rid of it although with a 2001 date I suspect the latter. So there may be more floating about.
