i know about cutters which sever any prop fouling, but why do owners of twin keeled boats not fit a cable or bar from forward of the shaft exit to the bottom of the skeg, to go some way to preventing fouling?
Obviously this is only applicable to boats with short skegs, not the longer ones which house the prop.
Has anyone done this? Is there a reason for not doing it?
