FORUMS OPINION REQUEST moody v legend v jeanneau v beneteau

OXFORD BLUE is a SO40. She used to belong to the MD of Westways, the Jeanneau dealer in Plymouth, so will be well specced. But she's not much bigger inside than a 36 except for the aft cabin which is bigger - and 2 wheels if that appeals (it doesn't to me).

Moodys are likely to be the best built, but also the slowest. personally I think the Moody 36 is a really great boat. It is really nicely thought out, safe and comfortable.

What about one of these ?

Can I have one please

Re: Nahhh.......one of these.

The ben is a great boat, I went all over a 423 oceanis fairly recently in the Med. she was up for sale with Ancasta in Port Napoleon.
Lots of goodies and a nice wood interior, as good as any I have seen.

Only problem was in mast furling.....not keen myself, but still a good looking yacht.

Re: Nahhh.......one of these.

Nothing really, especially with modern kit but.....in a pinch I would much rather have the option on just "droping the sails" than having a main sail jam up on me.
but I am a bit old fashoned, heck I even have those chart things in my chart table and no electronic charting!!

takes all Salts.
