Forum tv presents . . . .

Grand idea. I'll help with your Mediterranean episode. Easyjet will keep it nicely low budget. Coded boat and all that. Plenty of tea provided with compliments, and chocolate hobnobs :-)

jfm: what happened with that, erm, film production company that wanted to use your boat as a location for one of their meisterwerks? That might be one way of subsidising the costs ;)

I'm prepared do the episode about Gludy's catamaran - next February would be convenient for the location filming. It is being built in Seth Effrika, isn't it?

Ha! Yeah I remember. We traded emails and they sent me samples of their work, but I decided not to go ahead. It seemed a good idea initially but on further scrutiny I went off the idea. I did take some advice on how they'd treat the boat and got cold feet. You'll tell me off for this next part, but the guy (who was very nice and pleasant to discuss this with)did kindly say he needed plenty of blokes to er do what blokes do, and could I bring some mates along as extras. He even promised no face shots. Of the blokes. I could have got volunteers off the forum. A weekend in the Med with free chocolate hobnobs and a bj, eh?

So, erm, sorry about not arranging all that :-)

Some interesting responses. You don't need a coded boat to have a camera on board. You don't need half the stuff Elesar mentioned (and although slightly negative still helpful input, so stay on board!)
And 'Trying' - older boats would be of interest for reviewing so don't leave just yet!
So all we need now are the right contacts and we are off and running.
