Worth getting yourself a PayPal account.
Also, make sure its verified and set up as a business or premier account.
That way you can request money from ANYONE who has a credit card. Fees are nominal and easy to live with. Far better than cheques which are such a pain in the a***.
They don't need a PayPal account to pay you, they will just get an invoice from you and can easily settle via credit card etc.
