I am still looking into the SA course, I won't say much at the moment, but I have seriously listened to what has been written about it on these forums /forums/images/icons/wink.gif.

If I do not do SA, I have been offered a dayskipper sail weeks course from 8th -12th Sept, and advanced powerboat course on the 13th & 14th, these would be up in Scotland.

SWMBO is away in S of France 13th - 23rd August. I am dog sitting, so he would have to come, he is 13yrs, deaf as a post, and sleeps all day long. I would try and get Happy kid to come, he is 16 but thinks he is 21, he is at an outward bound course in Cumbria at the moment, he was not a happy bunny when I sent him on that /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif Had refused to pack up to ten minutes before we had to leave for the train /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif Have not heard from him, so I guess he got there and is loving every minute /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

It is a long tow, but if there was enough people getting together I would make the effort. Being Scottish myself, most of my family are in Ayrshire, so I would stop there on route for a visit.

I wanted to do my courses in August to match up with SWMBO being away, but no luck, only September available. I will be training in Glencoe and heading out West to Sea.

How can I refuse, even though you did spell BOTH of my names wrong /forums/images/icons/smile.gif .

Talking of which, I did ask Kim to change my name to 'HumberMart' many moons ago, but nothing came of it. Guess it's a bit late to bother with it now, I've already displayed my true colours using my real name.

Unfortunately, even the new 'light weight' B27 is just too big to trail, but I doubt we'd be sober enough to get much use out of it.

My sincere appolagise. MartYn, You may have noticed that i spelt Martin Correctly the second time i typed it (Martyn).

Regarding your last paragragh. Its a good way of keeping the hours down.

Anyway don't think i'll be putting many hours on it this weekend. Our pontoon on the marina are having a right good Ceilidh Shindig This Sat Night...
Sunday may be a problem....

Of course, in your 'Transport Director' role, you may be able to pull a few strings and organise a low loader. I'm sure 'Wishful' would appreciate some highland air and fresh water /forums/images/icons/smile.gif .
