Hi, have eventually managed to get back on line having despaired with the new - well not so new now - appearance of the forum and been defeated navigating around. Think I have re-mastered it!
Anyway, enjoyed the last get together we attended at Windsor, and having just come back on line, quite timely it seems, will do our utmost to join you in September. We will confirm definitely asap.

The registration form for the Thames Forum get-together at MDL Windsor Marina on 3/4 September is now available HERE
All registered members of the YBW Forums are invited to attend.
The programme is as follows:
3rd September
Noon onwards arrive MDL WIndsor Marina
1600hrs - Welcome Reception hosted by MDL Thames Marinas
1930hrs - Fish/Chicken/Sausage and Chips supper in TWYC Clubhouse - £5 per head followed by social evening with music.
4th September
Breakfast provided by TWYC - £4 per head
Depart as you please
MDL will provide free berthing on Saturday night for anyone who is not an MDL berth holder. Depending on demand rafting may be required or overflow berthing may be at MDL Bray. There is ample car parking for anyone planning to attend without a boat.
Anyone requiring a berth on the Friday or Sunday nights should arrange directly with the marina. Non MDL berth holders will be offered a special rate of £15 per night including complimentary membership of MDL Cruising Club.
Booking of meal choices will be requested nearer the time and payment will be required on arrival.

I'm looking forward to seeing a few 'faces' from the forum. I think SWMBO and I have given ourselves plenty of time this year to enjoy the river as much as possible so now it would be good to do a bit of socialising and meet fellow forum folk.
Do I need to prepare myself for some sort of initialisation ceremony? Roll a trouser leg up or something similar?

Although most people come by boat it's not obligatory. All that matters is that you are a registered member of ybw forums so you qualify - boat or no boat.
Some people will be coming by road.
