For a few years now I have been using Exol oils in a number of engines as an alternative to big name brands at a considerable saving. I appreciate that people may be sceptical about smaller and less well-known oil brands however I did my DD and have been very happy with the performance to date. I recently noticed that the supplier I use offers a small discount for clubs and forums so I have taken it upon myself to put this forum forward for that. As such I now have a discount code to use at Lubetech (lubetechshop.co.uk) which I cannot publish but am happy to supply to anyone here via a pm.

No connection at all to the company, just a happy customer!

Many thanks for putting the Forum forward, I am sure that it is appreciated by all.

I would appreciate the discount code please.

I always used Exol Marine 123 in my Caterpillars. Finnings Cat oil is rebranded Exol. Actually the Marine 123 is a higher grade than the Finnings. I used to buy locally from Clarke Oils in Redditch. Always happy with the price. Got the Exol coolant from them too.

I did send an enquiry to Clarke Oils but no response - PM me a contact if you have one please so I can compare, I am down to my last 25L in Sant Carles and wanted to change filters and oil when out in October.....

No I didn’t - he did say he would send the code via a PM, not to PM him, so I thought requesting it in an open thread, twice, would suffice, or if not a response to send him a PM would have been asked for, albeit I do accept he would be notified if a PM was sent so that in hindsight would I agree have been a more sensible approach!

I must say though Clarke responded fast and I was happy with their response!

Many thanks for the code, 20litres of oil on its way. I normally buy from them, but the code saved a bit.
One of the only places I can find mineral oil to CD spec for old diesel engines like Bukh. ( Exol Victory)

Just received a quote back from Lubetech, via email, for the following: 2 x 25L Exol Marine 123:

Lubetech: £156 including VAT and delivery (so lets say with 5% discount: £148.20)

Compared to:

Clarke Oils: £112.80 including VAT and delivery (Current supplier)

Lubricant Supplies: £117.80 including VAT and Collected (Previous supplier)

I must say I am impressed with the service received from Clarke Oils.....!
