Private messages

Private messages have all translated okay on the trial data migrations that we have performed.

We will be leaving the option of backing out of the final change if anything happens and will have back-ups of the data.

We have considered whether to put a time limit on PMs, to give the database a breather, but would not do so without giving very long and fullsome notice. No plans right now to do that.

I suppose you woulden't consider making it permanent would you in light of the current degeneration of some posts and "regulars"

The ybw forums at present...

...plays host to 14,000 posts per month and the vast majority of them stay within the boundaries of our Ts and Cs and general reason; if that was not the case we couldn't carry on running them.

As is always the case if anyone has any cause to be concerned about a post or an individual please email me kim_hollamby@ipcmedia.com or send me a PM.
