Does anyone fly one? - I haven't seen one up for ages; considering whether or not to bother.

All I see is lots of red and white ones....

I do, I think Boatone does, No Regrets did but his new boat has nowhere to fly one from ....

Yes usually fly mine but not seen too many out and about on the river.

It's at trowlock island , the police own that boat now.

I can have a look for it next time it is in if you like ?

Failing that , the tattered RNLI one on the front of mine has just been replaced with the forum standard !

Err, my ensign flies off the radar arch, and the forum burgee on the stb quarter of the cockpit gunwhale. Not being au-fait with the finer details of flag etiquette can I ask if I've dropped a clanger?

I'm not moving the flags - just interested to know.

I'm not moving the flags - just interested to know.

I don't get too hung up on flag etiquette on the river but if entering port from elsewhere it can be important where you wear your flags. However I do reserve the rear flag staff for the 'senior flag' which for me is our Ensign.
I fly the 'tipsy mouse' from a port shroud on my little all round light mast and my River Thames Society flag from a little mast on the pulpit rail.
I think that's in keeping with etiquette but willing to be corrected.
PS. I do not own a skull and cross bones flag!!!!
