Just looked at the service intervals every 15 hours !!!MAINTENANCE
Interval
Task
Every 15 hours or 90 days of operation (1075 SCi Only)
Check exhaust header mounting bolts for tightness
Flame arrestor ‐ Inspect and clean as required
Engine oil and filter ‐ Change
Fuel filters ‐ Change
Check and adjust valve tip clearance (lash)
Thats not going to be cheap running

Yeah but if you're running it light, say 60mph not 110, you can stretch those intervals

Well, those engines aren't labelled Merc RACING for nothing...
As I recall, if you want to buy one in EU (where, mind, it's NOT CE-compliant!), you must accept to give up the standard 2 years warranty.
Btw, I'm only noticing now that the external s/steel header on port engine doesn't look as shiny as it should be.
Mmm... It might have suffered some lack (hence low pressure) of cooling water, I'm afraid.
