Don't you just love Greece?
Would dlove to be able to take our boat there and spend days soaking up the atmosphere.
Days? No years.... the rest of my life please ! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Greatr report. Thanks for spending the time. I particularly liked the picture of the "sleeping lady" - I usually can't see whatever it is these landmarks are supposed to look like.
The Corinth Canal looks a long way down. Can you sail through it? I bet it would give you a whole new understanding of the term "catabatic wind".
Well done Graham, one of the nicest posts of the year! Looks like you had a really goos holiday and as you had plenty of time to get there... why not sail?
I really liked the look of this boat, what a cracker? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Great post Graham, thanks for the time in posting.
I went to the dark side for a few hours on Sunday, we towed my jetski back from Newtown.................But that's another story!!!

Have to say, very enjoyable...........
And for those of us with a sense of pride in such things....that bridge was built by Thomas Storeys Limited of Stockport in the county palatine of Cheshire, ENGLAND!
Great post and fantastic piccies. It has realy whetted my appetite - we are booked on a baraboat charter out of Athens in August /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Really looking forward to some good weather and a bit of sailing - the North Sea and UK weather in our mobo really didn't appeal this year!!
