Wonder what Monty will be shouting when he does the 13,000 mile leg on the Volvo Ocean Race

Interesting that this Mercurial character has elected to take time out to partake in this challenge.

As a keen golfer I am a great Monty fan, will be following the race even more closely now.

Hear hear. I'm also a great golf and Monty fan and once played Druid's Glen a week after he broke the course record there at the Irish Open - I cannot see how he could possibly score that low (63 I think) on that track off the back tees and the way it was set up!

It was interesting to read David Coulthards experience of starting a sailboat race compared to F1. (the latter being a comparitive doddle)

Would imagine that Monty will shed quite a few pounds if nothing else.
