The Sabre raw water side consists of stainless tubes, silicone rubber hoses, bronze end caps and heat exchanger tubestacks. One of their selling points was that no anodes were necessary.
Thank you. The manual I am referring to is old, predates the engines. But it does include a statement about checking the pencil anode(s). So I'll rest assured that there aren't any on mine.
From memory they had insulated returns on all the electrics and not the usual practice making the whole engine block an earth. The theory being that this prevented and electrolysis and therefore the need for anodes.
