I'm marinising a Ford endura XLD and just doing a bit of piping/ engine mounts. Now on the xld as fitted in the transverse position the return from the radiator, is a convoluted hose, with a branch on it, going to the fitting for the bottom radiator hose and the heater return. The fitting is fitted with two setscrews to locate it to the block. The two setscrews are in two of the engine mount holes so the pipe must be relocated. Has anyne found an easy way around this one.

I swapped a transverse to fore and aft from an Escort to my P100 pick up. One of the main differences is the water pump, this is a separate item with a V-belt drive instead of the cam belt driven unit on the transverse. If you need a pic of the set up, send me a pm with an e-mail. The P100 demised, but the engine is now running a compressor for sand blasting.
