The Thermocouples on my 12 year old Force 10, 3 burner stove need replacing, the ones on the hob have to be held in for a long time for the gas valve to remain open. The thermocouples on the grill and oven are OK.
I see the thermocouples on sale for around £10 each, so it looks like replacements are available.
Has anyone done this repair?
I thought it worth asking to see is anyone had any tips, I've got a .pdf of the manual and it looks quite straightforward ....... but is anything on a boat straight forward?
Cheers Ian

Just done this. Download a parts diagram. it describes the issues on the hob thermocouples - which are just electrical wires to spade connectors - heat in the end generates the current.. where as the grill and oven are copper tube thermos. The bits are very specific and come from the Southampton Calor lot and are not cheap. You may also need a some new screws that hold the burners in place as the philips heads get striiped very easily in removal - you may have to drill the head off.

I bought 2 new thermos and 2 screw replacements. 59 squids rip off - 2 screws were £10. Mine are in Greece so I could not try to match them up. It they are in the UJ yo could by a p0ack of 10 for a fiver probably once matched.

One thing to try before you strip it all down:
Pull the plastic tap off the switch completely and then replace by pushing back on - but not the whole way - very much trial and error. This positioning is critical. I have found that if it lights at all, it it usually this adjustment that the fault and not the Thermo.
