so, you're anchored in a nice spot, wind on one direction, tide somehow slightly different. OK, it copes fine (I guess)
Now bring in the 3-4 skiing 24ft something boats and the 2 larger ones that carry a parachute flying above. Then add the odd 20m tourist boat rushing the merchandise from one beach to the other. These produce all sorts of wash from all sorts of directions. This system will do bugger all for all that. Am I right?

in an ideal world it "may" work (not convinced). but my boat is never anchored in an ideal world, so as per vas "whats the point".

not too sure i would want blades spinning while i am at anchor.

That's been available for years. I was offered it perhaps 6 years ago. Doesnt work for reasons given above and others

Did also the system you were offered come from France Hélices?
Regardless, on the face of the "tout nouveau concept"...! :ambivalence:

Its true that SPC have been working om the system for at least 10 yrs now but i am yet to see a video showing the system doing what it is supposed to do in real life. All they have that i can find is a measly little model boat in a jacuzzi.

From the above you can see that it’s just a system to keep the nose into the swell so it’s not on the beam. It doesn’t say what happens in a crowded anchorage or from boat wakes from different directions.
It’s added avantage is as a stern thruster and also keeps the tv satellite dish in the right direction. All in all only worth it if it costs the same as a stern thruster imho

I guess the whole job could be done by a stern thruster but the motors would overheat and it would be too noisy and not safe to swimmers.
So, I should think that these motors would spin very slowly this being quiet - I wonder about the safety - people and stray painters etc from tenders etc.

That all said, I do use our stern thruster a lot whilst at anchor.
Usually to move the boat away from another boat if we don't want to re-anchor at that time of if some idiot has anchored too close.
A quick blat and the whole boat moves round.
