I've just received a box of tricks to ensure I setup the engine to specification for dwell, timing at the correct RPM etc and for the money (£20 offer accepted), it seems to be the business.

Thought I'd share it before the remaining 6 go (CEM AT-9995 meter)

I'm not sure if I can post links on here after the spamming thing.. so just cut and paste the following in to ebay and it'll find it:

Professional Automotive Meter with PC Interface

Blimey I have not used a Dwell meter for years, the only way to set AC Delco points, excuse me if I am telling you how to suck eggs, but the dwell meter measures the angle the rotor arm or cam moves through whilst the points are closed, plugs out, crank the engine and adjust the points/dwell angle while cranking, that is accurate points setting takes me back 25 years.

to be honest.. the only real reason (for me) was to make use of the inductive RPM function as my gauge is broken on the boat. It looks a quality piece of kit though, $130 worth on Amazon
