I dont often feel the need to share deals as i generally buy best in market which are never on offer compared to the budget equivalents because many other users all ready cover the bargains but now im buying for myself opposed To for a lux yacht i came across this deal.

It is not only half price of RRP £30 whether they ever sold any at RRP.... Amazon has it for £19.95.

Www.ebuyer.com has it at just £14.95!!! free postage.

Considring the Dremel kit is around £14.95 this comes with an actual Dremel type

Not going to have the precision or customer service of Dremel but what a bargain.

I just bought one

Thanks for posting that. I was going to get one from halfords this Sunday, so thats £15 saved. Not for the boat, but to do a couple of fiddly rust removal jobs on my spitfire!

Appreciated!

Agree with Nigel, All this cheap stuff is rubbish, I can do work quicker with my hands, yes I did buy one, nearly identical with the Ebay one in France over 7 years ago, put the lease pressure on any accessories they break, I have a 10v drill that was a bad buy as well, but we all buy this **** thinking it will be better than before, I have a large tool kit as I worked as a carpenter most of my life, plus loads of electrical tools, every once in a while I try the dermel type kit again and always disappointed. Dermel it self has a good name, but I would not buy one. For the same reason. I also repair antique clocks and have extensive tools for this hobby as well, but would never use this junk on them

While this is a good price for the drill, the accessories are rubbish. For a start the shafts are not 3.2mm (⅛") and the stones are very soft.
The accessories were always going to be cheap quality at this price.
Pretty much throw away items.
What size are the shafts?
Does the drill take dremel collets and suchlike?
I have a genuine Dremel, one of the Li-ion ones, a bit more power might be good sometimes. but otherwise, I think that the cordless Dremel is worth the money.

when you buy these cheap ones you will realise the shaft size for the tools is none standard so when you go to buy tools, the good quality ones dont fit and you end up tossing the drill and buying the dremel that you should have bought in the first place! just sayin

I agree, but generally speaking we can do the job with the cheap stuff just fine.

ill do a gel coat repair with the £14.99 tool next week and let you know how it Compares to the £80 Dremel.

Good find. Just ordered one too. I have a Dremel (a genuine one) that hasn't done much work and has burned-out, so I thought I might as well give the "cheap rubbish" a chance. Not much to lose! Hopefully, I can salvage collets and the like from the Dremel if they're interchangeable.

great information
nice idea
thanks all
