Naah, not at all. It's just that my mailbox is in some Mecum database (among others), so I regularly get their mailings.
Which I bin on the spot, mostly. But sometimes, as in this case, they're worth a look.
Btw, masterpieces as they are in many respects, those Riva hulls are a pita in terms of cruising attitude and comfort. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone interested in actually using them - Levi hulls of the same period were much better, frinstance.

The stern-on shot showed a very shallow deadrise, so maybe a post dawn run across Lake Como in benign conditions...
