Does anyone know where I might be able to hire a small power boat/RIB by the day in the Solent ?

There are a few that hire RIBS on Haslar Marina - Try Solent Yacht Chater or Victory Yacht Charter - will prob be Skippered only tho.

Lymington Yacht Haven has an operator hiring out Ribs, not sure of the nane though.

Lymington Yacht Charters used to run an excellent fleet but they have gone now.

I have a 6.5 metre RIB which I charter out from time to time, by all means mail me back direct and I'll contact you, as i dont really want to put my phone number on the forum.
