Lovely pictures, i always wondered if the no mooring painted on the wall was legal or not, pub is as everyone says, a bit chain like and disappointing, we have eaten there early evening and found the bar staff fine. Very limited mooring just after the pub and normally full when we arrive, three large narrow boats and it's all gone, shame as the town itself has all you need and we like the old castle ruins etc.
SWMBO wont moor their overnight since a load of yobs spent a night screaming and smashing bottles on the opposite bank, never had any trouble apart from that late night noise.
