Just an FYI that the island has changed its policy on reopening to the UK on the 1st July. Given the reported rise in the Delta Variant, Guernsey will now require all visitors from the UK to be double vaccinated with at least 14 days between second jab and arrival.

For us, that’s meant spending the morning bringing vaccine appointments forward to ensure the 14 days, so just a heads up for anybody else in the same category. It doesn’t seem to be publicised and I only learnt about this through a little cursory research.

Changes to planned travel rules due to take effect from 1 July.

It’s the same for Jersey. And it could change again at short notice. So keep checking before you set sail.

All you need to know is here>> Travelling to and from the Bailiwick | States of Guernsey - COVID-19
You have to register a travel check account (even after July 1st) but it is really straightforward.

Ah yes, but I was not referring to the Travel Tracker account. I was referring to the fact that Guernsey have very recently changed their entry requirements where the status of vaccinations is concerned. If you've not had both jabs with the second being at least 14 days prior to entry, you'll need to isolate even after the 1st July.
