The White Ensign is also used by some football supporters, who write the name of their football club along the horizontal arm of the St. George's cross. This was technically illegal, as the White Ensign can only be used with the permission of the Royal Navy, but now the Royal Navy have given permission for this purpose.

Well, there you go. No charts, anchor, flares, emergency paddle, compass, vhf or lifejackets, but it does come fully equipped with its own Ensign. Doh!

Wouldn't happen to be located in Birmingham would it? In which case it may well be a Navy vessel . . .

Speedboat 14ft Comet

White, Reday To Go Boat,

Controls The Lot,

Trailer Incl, VGC New Pair Of Tyres.

New Jockie Wheel And Winch On Trailer As Well,

The Only Thing You Need Is A Engine.

BLACKPOOL

Perfectly safe. It hasn't got "a engine" :D

Although it is "Reday To Go"

Not quite sure what "Controls The Lot" means or how the trailer can be in VGC when it hasn't any mudguards.

eh bien, Monsieur Navigateur des Lacs, quelle est la différence entre the ensign blanc, et the drapeau de St Georges, s'il vous plait ?

Bien spotté about the guards de mud, BTW.
