As we are off to the Folly this weekend for Drinks, food and frivolity with forum chums, it occured to us that we do not know whether the facilities there are 24 hour and/or clean/nice?

Talking of clean and nice why is it that we put up with such poor facilities at such a high cost in the UK and Europe?

If it is the Folly Inn you are talking about they have had a refurb last year and have 24 hour availability with codes etc which you need to obtain from the pub in normal working hours.

Facilities are good and clean but there does seem to be a lack of hot water to the showers whenever we go. There is a sign up to the effect that there may be a shortage of HW at peak times as the boiler does have a bottom. In nautical terms it must be "Avast Behind".

Great pub, great atmosphere, great landlord and staff. Have fun, wish I could be with you.

You will be fine - great food, good beer a band in the evening and we'll leave a power socket empty for you on the pontoon.

Bar stays open late on Asterie.
