Brilliant! Best illustrated instructions I've ever seen. Not sure about the 8 strand eye-splice though - I like the one Liros recommend, a herring-bone finish, better.

Ashley, Toss, RYA, Merry - got them all. Maybe I need help? So many bloody knots and splices, I struggle to remember whether the two parts of a Carrick bend should come in on the same, or opposite diagonals.

Hi - tried to download a couple - Acrobat Reader comes up with "Object label badly formatted" - and won't load the pdf.

OK for me. Excellent. I have recently downloaded the lastest version of Acrobat Reader but I wouldn't have thought that was an issue. I'll leave it for a techie to provide you with an inexplicable answer!
