Did you ever get this resolved? I have the identical motor and the identical problem.... New plug, cleaned all jets, new gas etc....will start and idle fine but dies when throttled. It must be getting gas as if you manipulate the choke you can get the engine to rev hard. Like you I am desperate. This motor is only four years old and hardly used. No sign of air leaks. The carb is so simple it is hard to know what is wrong. The original plug was somewhat fowled but the new plug made no difference

Have you tried running with the fuel cap off to rule out the possibility of a partially blocked air bleed into the tank?

Yes...no improvement at all. Fuel must be getting through fine as I can rev the engine hard with the choke full on. All I can think of is to replace all four carb jets....but it seems such a waste of time and money as the existing jets appear not to be blocked
