I recently bought a 1961 Harry Feltham Folkboat. I'd like to get a spinnaker for it. Funds are a bit limited so I can't have a crispy new one made..... so I thought I'd see what I could pick up on eBay etc...

Does anyone know roughly what size would work and what length of pole I should go for.

I'm not intending to do Folkboat class racing so doesn't necessarily need to be a proper Folkboat sail.

Thanks

Would it be easier, if you're not going to race it, to just get a cruising chute? Check out anything with a similar mast length/arrangement and see what size they use ... then check ads and E-Bay ... and no pole to bother with which I used to find much easier when solo.

I have a brand new, unused cruising chute (Crusader) taking up garage space for some years. Originally bought for an Etap 21i, but I think they are about the same mast length. Please check. It wont be expensive. PM me if interested.
