Folding Prop

Hi Folks,

How much extra speed can I expect if I replace my 2 blade fixed prop with a folding one?

I would expect to see about 0.5 - 0.8 of a knot under sail. due to the reduction in drag.

If you are fitting a 3 blade under motor you should see a reduction in revs of your engine by a couple of hundred rpm for the same speed as a 2 blade fixed.
