Folding Kayaks (ORU Kayak)?

I'm interested in getting a folding kayak (not canoe) to keep on board for occasional estuary/coastal use, but don't want to spend a king's ransom.

I have however seen this origami-inspired offering from California:

and am wondering if it'll be up to the job.

Any thoughts, or other suggestions?

Got to say it looks very interesting, brilliant idea, not so sure about the ebay one, keep us posted if you buy one
