Noticed that Morrisons are advertising folding bikes for £60 in their special offers. Dont know how good they are as I havent looked at them.

We have 2 one is from Compass Marine and seems well made and folds up small, other one was from Argos its a good bike to ride but still fairly large when folded.

Thanks, i was looking at bikes today in Halfords £99 for the cheapest mountain bike,my son has permantly borrowed mine, off to morrisons tonight.

Damn. I was looking for a couple of those, but I'm spent out at the moment. I suppose they'll crop up again somewhere.

Louise bought one. She's very happy with it. She rode it from whitesands to St Davids in the rain last Sat and loved it. I'll try and take a piture and post it here in the morning. It's quite solid, at 13KG, and it comes in a thickish bag with a zip.

Here we go. Apologie for the picture quality, it was my phone, my camera is on the boat. This took less than 2 minutes, we timed it.

I do a lot of cycling, Chris.....

I don't think the bike will fit on Ishtar, but it might on our next boat. We've decided to go for something about 60ft, so Louise can get everything she's bought on board. We've got 6 chocolate lockers. Is that normal?

Yes i think 6 is about right, our boat used to be filled with wine bottles in every nook and cranny until Helens health/diet/ boring phase kicked in a few months back. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Got mine, great value and quality.

Edit.... had to let swmbo in but barry Morrisons only had 3 left (well 2 now) and all white which is not ideal for rust stains if used on the boat!

Ps.... remember the pedals are handed if you do get one!!!!

Haven't figured out how to adjust the brakes though. Slightly more complicated than the rod brakes on my Raleigh Popular!

I haven't ridden it yet, but those shimano V brakes are wicked on me mountain bikes. BTW, cheap panniers coming up in lidl soon, don't know if they will fit.
