I 've just had my cockpit re upholstered from white to cream.

The Flybridge is still white and recent although one lounger has a tear on the underside in the corner.

I was about to get the one lounger recovered in matching white and SWMBO was shocked that the whole Flybridge wasnt going to match the downstairs cream.

As far as I am concerned its two different areas and they dont have to match.

White makes sense as the flybridge is in full sun all day, cream may be too hot and not weather too well ???

Question

Does it really matter if flybridge upholstery matches lower cockpit ?

White or cream for flybridge ?

I didnt take a photo, this is the sort of cream

imo the flybridge upholstry can be different from the cockpit,
at least on a bigger boat, where there is little to no visual contact between Cockpit and FB, creating a different athmosphere
but never cream for me (thats just me)
I would choose white or a clear shade of grey,

Thanks Bart and Elza, if Im honest I would like both to be the same however the flybridge is only 2 years old and its as new so I feel its a waste of money to change it now. I will probably match it in a couple of years.
At least I havent endured a barrage of of it will look a real mess so it can stay as it is for now.

The flybridge also has extended sun loungers and then there is the fore deck cushions , all in white too.

I would go for matching too, but if you leave it until it's worn enough, you may never get them matching.:ambivalence:

Good luck or get a poll going....
